Job Description

As a Security Professional - Logistics Access in Lakeland, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution and more .

As an Access Control Officer in a logistics and distribution environment, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help to deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure atmosphere. Your presence and routine patrols contribute to a welcoming environment, while your strong communication and customer service skills support those on site. You will work as part of a team that values agility, reliability, and innovation, always putting people first and acting with integrity in every interaction.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeThur02:00 PM - 10:00 PMSat10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the logistics and distribution location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and identify potential issues.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials of individuals entering or exiting the premises.
• Document and report any unusual activities or incidents according to site protocols.
• Collaborate with site personnel to address security-related concerns and maintain a secure environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Florida Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
• A valid guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
