Job Description

As a Security Professional - Healthcare Patrol - Part Time in Elkridge, MD, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a visible presence. Your role involves conducting routine patrols, assisting staff and visitors, and providing outstanding customer service and communication. You will be part of a team that values agility, reliability, and innovation, always putting people first and acting with integrity. Your presence and professionalism contribute to a welcoming and secure environment for everyone on site.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $20.40 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Day	Time
Mon	10:00 AM - 04:00 PM
Sat	04:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Responsibilities:

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the healthcare location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
• Interact with staff, patients, and visitors to address questions and provide assistance as needed.
• Document and report any unusual observations or incidents according to site protocols.
• Support a welcoming and orderly environment by monitoring entrances, exits, and common areas.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Maryland Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
