As a Security Professional - Front Desk - Unarmed Patrol in Duluth, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution and more .

As a Front Desk Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will be the first point of contact for guests and visitors at a bustling logistics and distribution location. Your primary responsibilities will include monitoring entry points, verifying credentials, and providing a welcoming presence while helping to deter security-related incidents through your visibility and professionalism. You will interact with a diverse range of individuals, offering exceptional customer service and clear communication to address inquiries and support the needs of the site. What You’ll Do

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
  
  

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to guests and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the front desk.
• Monitor access to the location, verifying identification and credentials of visitors, vendors, and employees.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, visitor logs, and incident reports as required.
• Communicate professionally with guests, staff, and management to address inquiries and provide assistance as needed.
• Support emergency response activities when appropriate, coordinating with Allied Universal and client personnel.

Minimum Requirements

• Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
