Job Description




As a Security Professional - Front Desk Patrol in Alviso, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate and more .

As a Front Desk Security Officer in a commercial real estate location, you will be responsible for monitoring access, managing visitor entry, and providing a welcoming presence. Your role involves remaining visible at the front desk to help to deter security-related incidents and responding promptly to inquiries. You will deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication, reflecting our values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first. This is not a driving or armed post.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $22.75 / Hour

Responsibilities:

    Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies at the front desk.
  • Monitor access to the location, verifying identification and credentials of individuals entering the premises.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Maintain detailed logs and reports of daily activities and any unusual occurrences at the front desk.
  • Assist with emergency response activities as appropriate, coordinating with building management and emergency services when needed.
  • Communicate professionally with tenants, visitors, and staff to address inquiries and provide information about the location's procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver's license in the state of employment is required for driving positions.
  • At least one year of security-related experience is required.
  • California Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
  • Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles or 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or have 5 years of verifiable experience.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
