Job Description

As a Security Professional - Front Desk in Sterling Forest, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more .

As a Front Desk Security Officer in a technology-focused location, you will be responsible for monitoring entry points, greeting visitors, and assisting with access control. Your presence at the front desk helps to deter security-related incidents while providing exceptional customer service and clear communication. You will work as part of a team that values agility, reliability, and innovation, always putting people first and acting with integrity in every interaction.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeSat08:00 AM - 04:00 PMSun08:00 AM - 04:00 PM

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies at the front desk.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting with emergency response activities as needed.
• Monitor access to the location, verifying identification and credentials of individuals entering the premises.
• Maintain detailed records of visitor and employee check-ins and check-outs, as well as any security-related incidents.
• Communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and emergency personnel as required.
• Assist in helping to deter unauthorized access or suspicious activity at the front desk area.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• New York Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
