As a Security Professional - Front Desk in Millburn, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare and more .

As a Front Desk Security Officer in a healthcare location, you will be the first point of contact for visitors, staff, and patients, providing a welcoming presence while assisting with access control and other security-related responsibilities. Your role will involve monitoring entry points, managing badge access, and responding to alarms as needed. You will help to deter security-related incidents through your attentive presence and strong communication skills. Pay Rate: $20.30 / Hour

What You'll Do:

    Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

  • Greet and assist visitors, patients, and staff at the front desk, providing a welcoming presence in a healthcare location.
  • Monitor access to the facility by verifying identification and managing visitor logs in accordance with site-specific policies.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for healthcare environments.
  • Communicate professionally with clients, staff, and emergency personnel as needed.
  • Support security-related procedures and protocols, including reporting unusual activity or potential risks to the appropriate personnel.
  • Assist with emergency response activities when appropriate, maintaining composure and clear communication.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to front desk activities and security-related incidents.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age for this role.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Access control or badge experience is preferred.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal Security will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
