As a Security Professional - Front Desk Patrol in Gaithersburg, MD, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare and more .

As a Front Desk professional in a healthcare location, you will be responsible for monitoring access, managing badge entry, and providing a welcoming presence to all visitors and staff. Your role involves assisting with security-related matters, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter incidents, and delivering outstanding customer service. You will utilize computer or tablet systems as part of your daily responsibilities. Our team values reliability, teamwork, and integrity, and we strive to create a supportive environment where people come first.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

Job Schedule

DayTime

Sat 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

Sun 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist visitors, clients, and staff at the front desk, providing a welcoming and professional presence.
• Carry out security-related procedures and follow site-specific policies relevant to a healthcare location.
• Monitor access to the premises, verifying identification and managing visitor logs as required.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Communicate with staff and management regarding any security-related concerns or unusual activity observed at the front desk area.
• Assist with emergency response activities when appropriate, coordinating with other personnel as needed.
  
  

Minimum Requirements

• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Maryland Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
• Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
• Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
