As a Security Professional - Front Desk Patrol in Gaithersburg, MD, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare and more .

As a Front Desk professional in a healthcare location, you will be responsible for monitoring access, managing badge entry, and providing a welcoming presence to all visitors and staff. Your role involves assisting with security-related matters, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter incidents, and delivering outstanding customer service. You will utilize computer or tablet systems as part of your daily responsibilities. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeSat03:00 PM - 11:00 PMSun03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist visitors, clients, and staff at the front desk, providing a welcoming and professional presence.
• Carry out security-related procedures and follow site-specific policies relevant to a healthcare location.
• Monitor access to the premises, verifying identification and managing visitor logs as required.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Communicate with staff and management regarding any security-related concerns or unusual activity observed at the front desk area.
• Assist with emergency response activities when appropriate, coordinating with other personnel as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Maryland Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
• Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
• Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
