Job Description

As a Security Professional - Education Patrol in Rocky Mount, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education and more .

As an unarmed patrol officer in an educational setting, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help to deter security-related incidents and maintain a welcoming environment. Your presence and routine patrols contribute to a sense of order, while your strong communication and customer service skills support the needs of students, staff, and visitors. This post requires driving as part of your responsibilities. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $12.00 / Hour

Sat 08:00 AM - 08:00 PM

Sun 08:00 AM - 08:00 PM

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the campus and its perimeter, helping to deter unwanted activity and maintaining a visible presence.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or potential hazards within the educational environment.
• Assist students, staff, and visitors with directions and general inquiries as needed.
• Collaborate with campus personnel and local authorities during incidents or emergencies.
• Complete detailed and accurate reports on incidents, observations, and activities during each shift.
  
  

Minimum Requirements

• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal Driver Policy requirements.
• North Carolina Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
