As a Security Professional - CRE Patrols Unarmed in Nottingham, MD, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service. Your presence and routine patrols will help create a welcoming environment for tenants and visitors. This is a primarily driving post, offering the opportunity to interact with a variety of people and situations throughout your shift. Pay Rate: $17.25 / Hour

What You’ll Do:

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the commercial real estate property and its perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by location.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity or potential threats to property management and/or law enforcement as appropriate.
  • Assist with access control and monitor entrances and exits to help to deter unauthorized entry.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and/or irregularities encountered during patrols.
  • Support property management staff and tenants with security-related concerns and provide information or directions as requested.

  • Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • A valid driver's license is preferred for primarily driving posts and must meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles or 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal Security will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
