Job Description

As a Security Professional - Commercial Building - Part Time in Dearborn, MI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate and more .

As an unarmed patrol officer in a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a visible presence. This primarily driving post involves conducting routine patrols and providing exceptional customer service and communication to those on site. You will be part of a team that values agility, reliability, and innovation, always putting people first and acting with integrity in all interactions.

Pay Rate: $12.48 / Hour

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the commercial real estate property and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or conditions within the location to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist with access control and monitor entry and exit points as required by site procedures.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and observations while on duty.
  
  

Minimum Requirements

• Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with AU driver policy requirements.
• Primarily driving post experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
