As a Security Professional - Commercial Building - Overnight Shift in Southfield, MI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate and more .

As an unarmed patrol officer at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents through your visible presence. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining clear communication with tenants and visitors. This post requires a valid driver's license, as driving may be part of your duties. Pay Rate: $14.00 / Hour

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the commercial real estate location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or conditions to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist with access control and monitor entry and exit points as required by site procedures.
• Support emergency response activities and provide assistance to clients, visitors, and staff during incidents.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with AU Driver Policy Requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
