Compensation :
Base Rate : $18.50, with Shift Differentials available!
Job Summary :
Oak Hill is on the lookout for passionate and dedicated Residential Program Workers (RPWs) to join our team. As an RPW, you will provide essential support to individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities in our group homes located in Enfield, CT and surrounding towns.
This role is not just a job; it's an opportunity to inspire and make a significant impact on the lives of others while achieving your own professional growth and personal fulfillment.
Deliver personalized care based on individual needs, including personal hygiene, household tasks, appointment transportation, vocational services, community activities, and supervision.
Accurately collect, record, and chart data in compliance with Oak Hill’s policies, procedures, and licensing regulations.
Assist with personal hygiene tasks to ensure participants' cleanliness, comfort, and well-being.
Encourage and support self-administration of medications, administer medications, and document any errors.
Apply emergency first aid and CPR procedures as needed.
Prepare materials for participant-related activities or projects.
Minimum Requirements :
Minimum of 1 yr of direct care experience in a group home setting
High school diploma or GED
Valid driver’s license
Ability to attend a mandatory 5-day new hire orientation in Hartford, CT
