Job Description

As a Security Professional - Bank Site Patrol in San Francisco, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions and more .

As an unarmed patrol officer at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a visible presence. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, providing exceptional customer service, and communicating clearly with staff and visitors. You will contribute to a positive environment by working collaboratively with your team and upholding the highest standards of integrity and reliability. This role is focused on unarmed patrol duties and does not require driving.

Pay Rate: $34.00 / Hour

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the financial institution and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or potential threats within the location, documenting findings as required by site protocols.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points, verifying credentials, and supporting visitor management procedures.
• Collaborate with site staff and law enforcement as needed to address incidents or emergencies within the financial institution environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of law enforcement experience or 2 years of security-related supervisor or manager experience or 3 years of security-related experience.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Possession of a guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• California Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles or 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
