As a Security Professional - Healthcare Site - Weekdays in San Francisco, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare and more .

As an unarmed patrol officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a visible presence. Your role involves conducting routine patrols, assisting staff and visitors, and providing outstanding customer service and communication. You will contribute to a positive environment by working collaboratively with your team and upholding the highest standards of integrity and reliability. Responsibilities:

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity or potential hazards within the healthcare environment.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with staff, visitors, and emergency personnel as needed.
  • Assist with access control and monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access.
  • Document incidents and daily activities according to site protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • California Guard Card is preferred.
  • A valid guard card or license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
