Job Description

As a Security Professional - Armed Site Patrol - Morning Shift in Detroit, MI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate and more .

As an Armed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents through your visible presence. You will conduct routine patrols, interact with tenants and visitors, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. This is an armed post, requiring you to carry a weapon while on duty. Pay Rate: $26.85 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Day TimeMon 08:00 AM - 05:00 PM Tue 08:00 AM - 05:00 PM Wed 08:00 AM - 05:00 PM Thur 08:00 AM - 05:00 PM Fri 08:00 AM - 05:00 PM

Responsibilities:

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following security procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the commercial real estate property and its perimeter, adapting to varying working environments and conditions.
• Monitor for and report any suspicious activity or security-related incidents within the location.
• Assist with access control and verify identification of individuals entering the premises.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement or emergency services when required.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have an Armed Designation as required by the client or jurisdiction.
• Must possess a valid Concealed Carry Weapons Permit.
• Must have at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, or security experience, or possess a college degree.
• Must provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
• Must be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
