As a Security Professional - Armed Patrol in Tampa, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more .

As a security professional in a government location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a visible presence. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, providing exceptional customer service, and communicating clearly with staff and visitors. This is an armed post and requires driving as part of your duties. You will contribute to a positive environment by working collaboratively with your team and upholding the values of reliability, agility, and integrity.

Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have an armed designation as required by the position.
• Must possess a valid driver's license in the state where the job is located.
• Must have at least three years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
• Must have at least one year of security-related experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or five years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
