As a **Security Professional - Armed Government Patrol - Part Time** in **Bartow, FL** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more .

As an armed security professional in a government location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, helping to deter security-related incidents through your visible presence. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining clear communication with staff and visitors. This armed post requires you to respond promptly to incidents and support a secure environment, reflecting our values of teamwork, integrity, and a people-first approach.

**Position Type: Part Time**

**Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour**

**Job Schedule:**

**Day** **Time**

Tue07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

Wed06:30 AM - 05:30 PM

**Responsibilities:**

+ Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.

+ Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the government location and its perimeter, adapting to varying working environments and conditions as required by the site.

+ Help to deter unauthorized activity through visible presence and thorough patrols.

+ Document and report any security-related incidents or unusual activity according to site protocols.

+ Collaborate with local law enforcement or emergency services when necessary.

+ Maintain a professional demeanor while interacting with the public, staff, and visitors at the government location.

**Minimum Requirements:**

+ Armed designation is required for this position.

+ A minimum of one year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience is required.

+ An armed guard card or license is preferred.

+ A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.

+ A Florida Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles or 21 years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or have five years of verifiable experience.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
