As a **Security Professional - Access Control** in **Santa Clara, CA** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more .

As an Access Control Officer in a technology-focused location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a visible presence. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, assisting with access control, and providing outstanding customer service and communication to all visitors and staff. You will be part of a team that values agility, reliability, and innovation, always putting people first and acting with integrity in every interaction.

**Position Type: Part Time**

**Pay Rate: $22.00 / Hour**

**Job Schedule:**

**Day** **Time**

Tue11:00 AM - 07:00 PM

Thur11:00 AM - 07:00 PM

**Responsibilities:**

+ Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, responding to emergency situations.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, adapting to varying working environments and conditions typical of technology and telecommunications locations.

+ Assist in helping to deter unauthorized access and suspicious activity through visible presence and adherence to access control protocols.

+ Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and any unusual occurrences as required by site policies.

**Minimum Requirements:**

+ At least 1 year of security-related experience is preferred.

+ Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ CPR or First Aid certification is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
