Job summary

U.S. Government Publishing Office is seeking a Security Specialist in Washington, DC to support agencies with secure printing, publishing, storage, and distribution of digital content. You will configure and maintain security systems, assess risks, and advise on policy matters in a fast-paced federal environment.

Responsibilities include managing access controls, CCTV, and safety issues, producing written reports, and coordinating resolutions with facility security personnel and stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Configure, maintain and troubleshoot security systems and access controls.
  • Evaluate CCTV and fire/safety issues to determine root causes and coordinate resolutions.
  • Maintain physical security and safety for technical countermeasures securing facilities.
  • Prepare written reports on program issues and support policy development.
  • Advise facility security personnel and assist with risk assessments.

As a Security Specialist in Washington, DC, you will work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, providing other agencies with innovative services for the printing, publishing, storage, and distribution of digital content.
