Job summary

Microchip Technology Inc. is seeking an experienced Strategic Product Marketing Engineer to lead product line strategy, customer engagement, and growth initiatives across our Secure Computing Group's security portfolio.

This role interfaces with customers, sales, product management, and engineering to shape roadmaps and cultivate design-wins in data center, server, and storage markets. The ideal candidate has deep semiconductor security knowledge, cryptographic principles, and strong experience

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
• 10+ years of experience in semiconductor product marketing, product management, business development, field applications, technical sales, or related customer-facing technical roles.
• Strong knowledge of hardware security, cryptographic principles, Root of Trust technologies, Secure Elements, embedded controllers, and secure embedded systems.

Responsibilities

• Drive definition and execution of product line strategies and long-term roadmaps with cross-functional teams.
• Translate customer requirements, market trends, and competitive intelligence into actionable product investments.
• Develop pricing strategies, business cases, and competitive positioning frameworks.
• Build account-based growth plans with regional sales and field applications teams.
• Establish trusted advisor relationships with customer engineering teams and executives.
