Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Professional Flex Officer to guard client sites across healthcare, education and finance sectors. You will patrol, monitor, report incidents, and assist clients while using a shift-pickup platform to build a flexible schedule.

Must have HS diploma or GED, valid driver's license, and pass background and drug screenings. Opportunities for growth exist within the world’s largest private security company, with weekly pay and 401k eligibility.

Qualifications

• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• Valid driver’s license if driving a company or customer-owned vehicle.
• Background check as per federal, state and local laws; may consider applicants with criminal histories.
• Drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Be at least 18 years old (21 if armed in some states).
• Ability to operate radio/console monitors and interact with the public.
• Effective verbal and written communication; strong listening and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle.
• Watch for irregular or unusual conditions to ensure safety and security.
• Sound alarms or summon police/fire department when needed.
• Warn violators of rules and monitor entrances/exits.
• Maintain logs and prepare reports on incidents and accidents.
• Assist customers, employees, and visitors courteously and professionally.
