Allied Universal is hiring a Security Professional Flex Officer to safeguard clients across various industries. You will patrol designated areas, monitor access points, and respond to emergencies using our shift-pickup platform to build a flexible schedule.

The role offers growth opportunities, hands-on site experience, and the chance to work across healthcare, education, and finance sectors. Must be at least 18 (21 if armed) with a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• Licensing requirements vary by state/local laws and may be required.
• Valid driver’s license if driving company or customer vehicles.
• Background check required.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• No prior experience required.
• Must be 18+ (21 if armed)
• Reliable and adaptable to different posts.
• Able to operate radio/console equipment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Good problem-solving and listening abilities.
• Ability to mediate conflicts with tact.
• Team-oriented and detail-focused.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle.
• Watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or hazards.
• Sound alarms or call police/fire department in case of emergencies.
• Warn violators of rules and monitor entrances/exits.
• Permit authorized persons to enter property and monitor access points.
• Observe departing personnel to prevent theft and ensure proper removal of property.
• Investigate incidents and prepare reports; maintain logs.
• Assist customers, employees, and visitors professionally.
• Make emergency notifications as required by site Post Orders.
