Allied Universal is now hiring in Charleston, WV for a Security Guard - Full Time at $17.25/hour. The Security Professional Flex Officer uses our shift-pickup platform to view and claim open shifts, gaining site experience across Healthcare, Education, Finance and more.

We offer paid training, weekly pay, uniforms and equipment, and excellent benefits. Valid driver’s license and a background check are part of pre-employment; 18+ years of age required.

Qualifications

• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• Active listening and problem-solving skills are essential.
• Ability to interact cordially with the public and maintain logs.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols on foot or in vehicle.
• Watch for irregular or unusual conditions creating safety concerns.
• Sound alarms or call police/fire if needed.
• Warn violators and monitor entrances/exits.
• Prepare reports on accidents and incidents; maintain logs.
• Assist customers, employees, and visitors courteously.
• Make emergency notifications per site orders.
