Job summary

Allied Universal® is hiring a Security Professional Flex Officer in Pasadena, California. The role involves patrolling designated areas, watching for security risks, and responding to emergencies.

The position offers flexibility with the company’s shift-pickup platform to build a schedule that fits your availability. Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent (or 5 years' verifiable experience), a valid driver’s license if required, and successful completion of a background check

Qualifications

• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state/local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• Valid driver’s license if driving a company or customer-owned vehicle.
• Background investigation and drug screen required by Allied Universal per policy.
• Be at least 18 years of age (21 if armed in some states).

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle.
• Watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or hazards.
• Sound alarms or contact police/fire department as needed.
• Warn violators of rule infractions and monitor entrances/exits.
• Observe departing personnel to prevent theft and ensure proper removal of property.
• Investigate accidents, incidents and suspicious activities; maintain logs.
• Assist customers, employees, and visitors in a courteous manner.
• Make emergency notifications as required by site Post Orders.
