Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Professional Flex Officer in the Bethlehem area to protect client sites across various industries. You will use our shift-pickup platform to claim open shifts, building a flexible schedule while gaining site experience.

The role includes patrols, access control, incident reporting, and top‑tier customer service. A HS diploma or 5 years experience, valid driver’s license, and the ability to work varying shifts are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or 5 years verifiable experience.
• Valid driver’s license if driving a company or customer-owned vehicle.
• Background check required by law; subject to local regulations.
• Drug screen required.
• Be at least 18 (21 if armed).
• Reliability and adaptability to different post assignments.
• Operate radio/telephone equipment or consoles.
• Demonstrated ability to interact cordially with the public.
• Strong oral and written communication; attentive listener.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle.
• Watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns.
• Sound alarms or call police/fire department when needed.
• Warn violators of rule infractions; monitor entrances/exits.
• Permit authorized persons to enter property and monitor access points.
• Observe departing personnel to prevent theft; ensure proper removal of property.
• Investigate incidents and prepare written reports; maintain logs.
• Aid customers, employees, and visitors professionally.
• Make emergency notifications per site Post Orders.
