Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Professional Flex Officer to protect clients across industries. Use our shift-pickup platform to view and claim shifts, building a schedule around your availability while gaining site experience. Must be able to work irregular shifts with limited notice and be at least 18 years old.

Pay rate is $22.38 per hour with opportunities to grow in a leading global security company.

Qualifications

• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws before employment.
• Valid driver’s license if operating company or customer vehicles.
• Background check as per federal/state/local laws; drug screening where permitted.
• No prior experience required; 18+ years old (21 if armed).

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols on foot or in vehicle.
• Monitor for irregular or unusual conditions and security risks.
• Sound alarms or contact police/fire as needed.
• Control access to property; monitor entrances/exits.
• Prepare reports on incidents and maintain logs.
• Assist customers/employees/visitors courteously and professionally.
• Make emergency notifications according to site orders.
