Job summary

NXP Semiconductors in Austin, TX seeks an IT Security Policy & Training Coordinator to govern policy lifecycle, maintain the policy library, and drive targeted security trainings via LMS and microlearning channels.

You will coordinate cross-functional reviews, translate complex requirements into engaging content, and measure training effectiveness through quizzes and reports for audits and leadership reviews.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of IT policy management, GRC, information security, or compliance documentation experience.
• Technical writing proficiency with portfolios showing structured, plain-language documents.
• Graphic/video design skills to create visuals for trainings.
• Experience coordinating document reviews and approvals across stakeholders.
• Familiarity with security frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001/27002, CIS, SOC 2).
• Hands-on with collaboration tools (SharePoint, Confluence, Microsoft 365) and LMS administration basics.
• Strong organization, detail-orientation, and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Orchestrate policy lifecycle from intake to publication and versioning.
• Maintain policy library with metadata, dates, and framework mappings.
• Coordinate working groups, track comments, and drive on-time approvals.
• Ensure audit-ready document control and traceability.
• Align policies to NIST CSF/800-53, ISO 27001/27002, CIS Controls, SOC 2, HIPAA, PCI DSS as relevant.
• Ensure readability and use of security language in content.
• Draft release notes, FAQs, and briefings for policy rollouts.
