Job summary

EdgeConneX is seeking a Physical Security Standards & Training Manager to own the security standards framework, drive audits, and ensure competency across sites. This role reports to the Senior Manager, Global Security Programs and requires travel for audits and training.

You will translate policy into clear site-level controls, manage document control, and deliver on-site training on access control, CCTV, and security processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in security, risk, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience designing and running assurance, audit, or compliance programs in security.
• Experience in data center or critical infrastructure with audit exposure.
• Experience delivering on-site physical security training and competency frameworks.
• Experience directing staff and managing vendors.
• Desirable: CPP, PSP, Lead Auditor certifications.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update the corporate physical security standards framework.
• Translate policy into clear, deliverable site-level controls.
• Govern document control, review cadence and change-management.
• Operate internal assurance program including audits across sites.
• Track findings, remediation, and report status to leadership.
• Coordinate external and customer audits and assessor engagement.
• Deliver on-site training on physical security standards and systems.
• Maintain training records, refreshers and completion reporting.
• Travel to sites for audit and training delivery.
