A leading health system in Michigan is seeking an Armed Security Police Officer to ensure safety across their facilities. The role involves monitoring, directing visitors, and intervening in disturbances. Candidates must meet specific education and experience requirements, including a valid Michigan operator’s license and successful completion of training.
Under general supervision, monitors Henry Ford Health facilities and properties to protect persons and property associated with Henry Ford Health against injury or loss. Directs visitors, patients, and employees to appropriate locations and intervenes to prevent and control disturbances. Keeps appropriate persons informed of activities, events, and incidents. Summons appropriate assistance as necessary.
