Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a Security Platform Technical Lead to design and lead secure systems for government clients. You will shape the architecture, select tools, and guide teams to implement secure, scalable solutions in complex IT environments.

You will manage enterprise security initiatives across on‑prem, hybrid, and cloud ecosystems, focusing on SIEM, SOC, and modern defense techniques while collaborating with leadership and stakeholders to protect critical infrastructure.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience with enterprise environments including on‑prem, hybrid, and cloud‑based systems.
• 5+ years of experience leading enterprise architecture and designing security solutions integration, ideally focused on SIEM and SOC solutions.
• 5+ years of experience in cloud computing environments such as AWS or Azure.
• 5+ years of experience leading teams in the integration of cyber capabilities and AWS well‑architected frameworks.
• Experience configuring, deploying, and implementing Elastic in an AWS environment.
• Experience using Helm charts within Kubernetes.
• Experience with Terraform.
• Experience with Gitops and its importance.

You’ll lead and coordinate work to identify the right mix of tools and techniques to translate your customer’s IT needs and goals into a plan that will enable secure and effective solutions. We need to come up with the best solutions, so you’ll advise on new techniques, break free from the legacy model, and go where the industry is going. You’ll guide the team through a critical approach to network design, providing alternatives and customizing solutions to maintain a balance of security enterprise needs and the broader mission.

You Have:

8+ years of experience with enterprise environments, including on-prem, hybrid, and cloud-based systems

5+ years of experience leading enterprise architecture and designing security solutions integration, ideally focused on SIEM and SOC solutions

5+ years of experience in cloud computing environment such as AWS or Azure

5+ years of experience leading teams in the integration of cyber capabilities and AWS well architected frameworks

Experience configuring, deploying, and implementing Elastic in an AWS environment

Experience using Helm charts within Kubernetes

Experience with Terraform

Experience with Gitops and its importance

Nice If You Have:

Experience working with data and information classification levels within the government such as IL-4, IL-5, IL-6 networks including SIPRNet and JWICs

Experience working with multiple levels of Government leadership

Experience scripting with Python or Bash

Experience with REST APIs, SQL, NoSQL, and Regular Expressions

Experience with NIST Special Publications relating to Risk Management Framework, incident response, forensics, and system engineering

Possession of outstanding partnering and communication skills

Elastic Certification

DoD 8570 IAT-II or III Certifications such as Security+, CySA+ or GSEC Certification
