Job summary

Athens Services is seeking a Security Operations Jr. Analyst to support the ASOC with 24/7 monitoring, incident reporting, and risk management across multiple facilities.

This hybrid role splits time between the command center and field patrols, conducting security checks and filling staffing gaps as needed. The position emphasizes flexible shifts, strong communication, and the ability to switch between office-based and on-site duties.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of security, patrol operations, or customer service.
• Valid California driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Strong verbal communication and professional interaction with employees, contractors, and the public.
• Ability to write clear, concise reports.
• Comfortable in both a command center and field environment.
• Must be able to walk, stand, patrol for extended periods and drive between sites.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist ASOC analysts with monitoring CCTV, access control, and incident reporting platforms.
• Triage and document incidents under supervision of senior analysts.
• Conduct roving patrols across Athens facilities to ensure security presence and coverage.
• Fill site security staffing gaps as directed by ASOC leadership.
• Perform physical security checks (perimeter inspections, door checks, alarm testing, equipment verification).
• Provide deterrence to theft, vandalism, and trespassing through patrol activity.
• Support emergency response efforts (fire, medical, intrusions, hazardous conditions).
• Deliver clear, professional reports and communications from ASOC and field assignments.
