Job summary

Titan Security Group is hiring Security Patrol Flex Officers to work at locations in the Wayne/Westland area. You will patrol, monitor, respond to alarms, and assist with security operations to ensure a safe environment for clients and visitors.

The role requires 18+, prior security or customer service experience, ability to pass background checks and a 50+ lb lift, with opportunities for evening, overnight and weekend shifts. Titan offers health/dental insurance, PTO and career growth.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Experience in door staff, receptionist, customer service, clerical, hotel or restaurant roles.
• Comfortable around dogs, cats and other animals.
• Able to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Able to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Able to lift 50+ lbs, complete foot patrols, stairs, and work in inclement weather.
• First aid, CPR, and AED.
• De-escalation Training, CPI.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with monitoring company, law enforcement and/or fire officials during alarms.
• Assist law enforcement and client employees with apprehending absconders and handling unruly individuals to maintain safety.
• Identify dangerous conditions on buildings/grounds and respond appropriately.
• Initiate and render first aid in emergencies.
• Summon emergency services when necessary.
• Carry a cellular phone at all times on duty for emergencies.
• Use strong communication to de-escalate tense situations.
• Provide daily incident summaries/reports to client via email.
• Prepare clear, complete written reports.
• Meet and interact courteously with employees, visitors and the public.
• Route or guide visitors to conference rooms or designated areas.
• Give clear verbal directions to agency personnel and visitors.
• Follow instructions and train others on rules and procedures.
• Demonstrate knowledge of safety precautions and fire prevention methods.

Titan Security Group is currently hiring Security Patrol Flex Officers to work at several locations in the Wayne/ Westland, area.

Responsibilities

of Security Patrol Officers include, but are not limited to:

• Act as liaison with the security monitoring company, law enforcement, and/or fire officials in responding to alarm situations when necessary.
• Assist law enforcement personnel and client employees in apprehending absconders and handling unruly and/or violent individuals on the premises to maintain a safe and secure environment.
• Recognize dangerous conditions on buildings and grounds and respond appropriately.
• Initiate and render first aid assistance in emergency situations involving injury or illness to members, employees, volunteers, or visitors.
• Summon emergency fire, ambulance, or medical services when necessary.
• Carry a functional cellular phone at all times while on duty for emergency communication.
• Utilize strong communication skills to de‑escalate and mediate confrontational or tense situations.
• Provide daily incident summaries and detailed incident reports to the client via email, as required.
• Prepare clear, concise, complete, legible, and factual written reports.
• Complete all necessary forms and documentation provided by the entity.
• Meet and interact courteously and effectively with employees, visitors, and the general public.
• Route or guide visitors to conference rooms or other designated areas as needed.
• Give clear verbal directions and instructions to agency personnel, visitors, and other tenants.
• Understand and follow oral and written instructions; provide guidance to others on rules, duties, and procedures.
• Demonstrate working knowledge of general safety precautions and fire prevention methods.

Required Qualifications

of Security Officers:

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have experience as a door staff professional or in a receptionist, customer service, clerical, hotel or restaurant position.
• Must be comfortable around dogs, cats, and other pets/animals
• High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Able to acquire and maintain a valid Illinois Permanent Employee Registration Card (PERC), including state accredited training requirements
• Able to pass pre‑employment drug screen and criminal background check.
• Able to read, write, speak, and understand English
• Able to meet physical essential functions of the job, which can include lifting 50+ lbs, completing foot patrols, walking up and down stairs, working in inclement weather
