Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Guard Patrol Inspector in San Jose, California. This full-time role involves patrolling facilities, monitoring access points, and delivering excellent customer service while upholding security procedures at a technology location.

The position offers a daytime to overnight schedule across the week, with a pay rate of $23.00 per hour. Successful candidates will undergo background checks and drug screening as part of the hiring process, and must meet licensing

Qualifications

Must be 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Background check required by law.
Drug screening required.
Valid driver’s license required for driving positions.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors per security procedures and site policies.
Monitor access points, review visitor and contractor credentials, and maintain accurate access and incident documentation.
Conduct regular patrols of facilities, offices, parking and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and coordinate with site contacts and responders.
Report maintenance concerns, access-control issues, and security observations through reporting channels.
