Job summary

Olympia Entertainment is seeking a security professional to protect facilities, personnel and assets across Ilitch venues. You will monitor access, respond to incidents and coordinate with external resources as needed in a dynamic environment.

Under supervision, you’ll update visitor management systems, inspect deliveries, and escort staff and guests. The role demands flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays, with CPR/AED and a driver’s license supported by related training.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) or 1–2 years progressive security experience.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business materials and regulations; write reports and manuals; present information.
• Ability to compute basic math and interpret data such as rates and percentages.
• Ability to navigate CCTV, access control, visitor management and life-safety systems.
• Driver’s license and CPR/FA, AED training.

Responsibilities

• Provide security protection for facilities, materials and personnel to preclude unauthorized access or theft.
• Monitor entry/exit flows; audit authorization and verify IDs.
• Protect colleagues, guests and patrons at venues from hazards and confrontations.
• Maintain visitor management, inspect deliveries and contractors entering/exiting.
• Inspect areas for hazards; document safety and security deficiencies.
• Escort guests and personnel as directed.
• Oversee emergencies and respond to incidents; assist with investigations.
• Develop and implement improved security programs.
• Stay current on security orders; educate colleagues on security issues.
• Work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
