Job summary

Detroit Athletic Club is seeking a dedicated security professional to represent the security department and support guest services across the club. The role involves patrolling facilities and grounds, enforcing policies, and safeguarding members, guests, employees, and assets.

Responsibilities include documenting incidents, securing keys, assisting with emergencies, inspecting belongings, monitoring cameras, and logging activities.

Qualifications

• Must be detail oriented.
• Must have good vision and be able to use extremities to lift, bend, squat, walk, run, stand indoors or outdoors.
• Minimum 2 years of security or law enforcement experience.
• Must acquire and maintain CPR, AED and First Aid certifications.
• Must be flexible to work any shift.

Responsibilities

• Represent the security department in a team setting and support safety, security and guest services.
• Patrol Club facility, property and grounds including garage to enforce club policy.
• Ensure safety, security and well-being of members, guests, employees and Club assets.
• Maintain and document all incidents (loss, injury, theft, etc.).
• Secure and retrieve overnight valet keys and vehicles.
• Assist Night Management with all club emergency and security measures.
• Inspect parcels, handbags, boxes or other containers carried by employees.
• Enforce all club rules and regulations governing employees.
• Respond to emergencies and fire alarms.
• Administer CPR, AED and first aid when necessary.
• Patrol parking lots and structure; prevent unauthorized access.
• Maintain accurate log of security staff activities.
• Monitor security cameras and document suspicious activity.
• Operate weekend/After Hours member sign-in program.
• Assist Director of Security with security program implementation.
• Assist in oversight of contract guard services for special events.
• Perform any other duties as directed.

Patrol Club facility, property and grounds including garage to enforce club policy. Ensure the safety, security and well-being of members, guests, employees and the Club’s assets.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Maintain and Document All Incidents including but not limited to: Loss, Injury, Theft etc.
• Secure and retrieve overnight valet keys and vehicles.
• Assist the Night Management with All Club Emergency and Security Measures.
• Inspect all parcels, handbags, boxes or other containers carried by employees entering and leaving the Club.
• Enforce all rules and regulations of Club that govern employees.
• Respond to emergency and fire alarms.
• Administer C.P.R., AED and first aid if necessary.
• Patrol parking lots and parking structure; prevents unauthorized vehicles and people from using these areas
• Only leaves post when a replacement is present or during emergency situations.
• Maintain accurate log of all security staff activities
• Monitor security cameras and document suspicious activity.
• Operate and enforce weekend/After Hours member sign-in program.
• Assist the Director of Security with the implementation of security and safety programs
• Assist in oversight of contract guard services for special events.
• Any other duties as directed

Qualifications: REQUIREMENTS

• Must be detail orientated.
• Must have good vision and be able to use extremities to: Lift, Bend, Squat, Walk, Run, Stand In- Doors or Out-Doors.
• Must have a Minimum 2 Years of Security or Law Enforcement Experience.
• Must acquire and maintain certifications –AED CPR and First Aid.
