Job summary

Allied Universal, a leading security and facility services company, seeks a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Driver in Baytown, TX. You will conduct unarmed patrols, maintain a visible presence, and deliver excellent customer service in a chemical/petrochemical environment.

The position requires a valid driver’s license and a background check, with opportunities for training and benefits as part of a comprehensive program.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate at a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and reporting observations to appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, access points, operational areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify unusual conditions and help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access control points and verify authorized entry in accordance with site requirements, maintaining accurate logs and completing required documentation.
• Observe and report potential hazards, equipment concerns, spills, or unusual activity to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership in accordance with established protocols.
