Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Driver in Anacortes, WA. You will perform patrols, maintain a visible presence, and support a secure environment at chemical/petrochemical locations while delivering exceptional service.

Requires a valid driver’s license and compliance with company policies. The role emphasizes safety, communication, and teamwork within a dynamic security team.

Qualifications

• Customer-focused security professional with ability to follow site policies and procedures.
• Capability to perform unarmed patrols and monitor for unusual conditions.
• Ability to communicate effectively with staff and management during incidents.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate at a chemical and petrochemical refinery location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of refinery buildings, process areas, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations, while following site-required protective equipment requirements.
• Monitor for and promptly report unusual conditions, unauthorized activity, damaged barriers, spills, releases, and other security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and communication protocols.
• Assist with access control activities, visitor and contractor screening, and documentation of patrols, incidents, and observations.
