Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate at a chemical and petrochemical refinery location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of refinery buildings, process areas, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations, while following site-required protective equipment requirements.
• Monitor for and promptly report unusual conditions, unauthorized activity, damaged barriers, spills, releases, and other security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and communication protocols.
• Assist with access control activities, visitor and contractor screening, and documentation of patrols, incidents, and observations.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Driver in Anacortes, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a chemical/petrochemical location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a secure environment for personnel and operations. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. What You'll Do

Minimum Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
