Job summary

Allied Universal in Allentown is seeking a Security Patrol / Gate Officer to monitor the HQ site, screen entrants, and patrol interior and exterior areas. This full-time position requires vigilance and prompt response to incidents.

Pay rate is $20.22 per hour. Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, valid driver’s license, and CPR/AED certification within 60 days. Shifts include day and night schedules.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent or 5 years of security experience.
• Valid driver’s license is required.
• CPR and AED certification within 60 days of employment (company-provided).

Responsibilities

• Screen all personnel, vehicles and equipment entering gated area.
• Assist with evacuation and personnel accountability during alarms or drills.
• Post in guardhouse and monitor for safety or security concerns.
• Conduct patrols of interior and exterior areas.
• Screen on-site personnel to ensure proper credentials or Visitors Pass.
• Coordinate access for visitors and deliveries as needed.
• Report maintenance concerns with security equipment and follow through.
