Job summary

Allied Universal in Bronx, NY is seeking a Security Patrol Driver for a college campus. You will perform routine patrols by vehicle and on foot, respond to security concerns, and deliver excellent customer service to students, staff, and visitors.

This is a full-time, night-shift role with a pay rate of $20.30-$21.30 per hour. Responsibilities include monitoring access, reporting incidents, and following site procedures.

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background investigation required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and campus partners while following site-specific security procedures and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of campus buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
• Respond to incidents and access concerns in a calm, professional manner per site procedures.
• Monitor access points and help maintain orderly entry and exit at campus locations.
• Document patrols, incidents, and security-related concerns and report to supervisors.

As a Security Patrol Driver College Campus Patrol in Bronx, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. As a Driving Unarmed Patrol Officer at a university location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming campus environment. You will respond to security-related concerns, communicate professionally with students, staff, and visitors, and provide exceptional customer service. What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and/or campus partners while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of campus buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual conditions and report observations.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Monitor access points and help maintain orderly entry and exit at assigned academic, residential, administrative, and event locations.
• Document patrols, incidents, and security-related concerns accurately and communicate relevant information to supervisors and appropriate campus personnel.

Minimum Requirements

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
