As a Security Patrol Driver Area Patrolin Melville, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment through exceptional customer service and communication. This driving post requires a valid driver's license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control requirements, and emergency response activities within a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, parking areas, loading docks, and the exterior perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials as directed, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and report irregularities to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical situations, and other critical events in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities accurately and communicate relevant information during shift handoffs.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
