Job summary

JetBlue is seeking a Vulnerability Remediation Engineer to strengthen security across Windows and Linux infrastructure. You will drive automated patching, collaborate with Infrastructure, Cybersecurity, Cloud, and Application Support teams, and prioritize remediation using risk-based methods.

The role requires experience with enterprise patch management tools and scripting to improve efficiency, reporting, and compliance metrics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent experience.
• 3 years of server vulnerability remediation experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead remediation of server vulnerabilities across Windows and Linux environments.
• Engineer, implement, and optimize automated patch management and remediation workflows.
• Perform vulnerability assessments, analyze scan results, and prioritize remediation activities.
• Coordinate remediation schedules with multiple teams and maintain operational readiness.
• Develop and maintain patch management procedures, runbooks, and compliance reporting.
• Monitor remediation success, trends, and metrics to identify improvements.
• Troubleshoot deployment failures and remediation exceptions.
• Support audits and regulatory compliance initiatives.
