Job summary

Eagle Mine LLC is seeking a qualified EMS/Security professional to provide site entry control and on-site emergency medical services across all Eagle Mine locations. You will patrol the sites, monitor facilities and surveillance, identify risks, and prepare incident reports.

The role requires a Michigan Paramedic license, a high school diploma, a valid driver's license, and strong communication skills. You will work with fire response units, administer advanced life support when needed, and help

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Possess a valid Driver's License.
• Current State of Michigan Paramedic license required.
• Effective oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Demonstrated effective usage of Microsoft applications.

Responsibilities

MAIN PURPOSE: Site entry control and emergency medical services at all Eagle Mine locations.

Main Responsibilities/Activities

• Site entry control
• Identify potential security risks and respond accordingly
• Performs patrols of the property
• Observes conditions of equipment, grounds, and facilities
• Prepare reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities
• Monitors surveillance cameras, fire notification systems, and other monitoring systems
• Coordinates with fire response units for fire suppression
• Evaluates, treats, and stabilizes routine and urgent patients within the scope of practice and standing orders established
• Provides advanced life support or paramedic services to patients when needed
• Utilize medical equipment and procedures including EKG monitor, defibrillator, oxygen, CPR, and other procedures and medications as required.
• Communicates with hospitals and emergency response units to provide emergency care
• Controls transfer of patients to medical facilities
• Perform drug and alcohol testing as required
• Performs other duties as assigned

Education, Qualifications And Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Possess a valid Driver's License
• Current State of Michigan Paramedic license required
• Effective oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Demonstrated effective usage of Microsoft applications

Hsec Accountabilities

• Report all incidents; including but not limited to injuries, near miss, community interactions and impacts, environmental impacts, spills, unsafe work practices, etc.
