Job summary

Creative Financial Staffing, LLC is seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Engineer to join our security operations team in Atlanta, GA. You will protect enterprise systems, investigate threats, and improve security monitoring capabilities across the environment.

The ideal candidate will lead threat hunting, analyze alerts, and collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to harden systems, implement security controls, and ensure compliance with industry standards.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in information security or related roles.
• Hands-on with security monitoring and incident response.
• Experience administering SIEM, EDR/XDR, vulnerability management, and detection tools.
• Knowledge of Defender and Sentinel.
• Experience with threat hunting and incident investigation.
• Understanding networking, OS, and enterprise infra.
• Strong documentation and reporting skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and triage security alerts, IOCs, phishing reports, and suspicious activity.
• Perform threat hunting to identify security risks and malicious behavior.
• Respond to incidents with containment, remediation, and post-incident analysis.
• Review security events to identify trends, vulnerabilities, and improvement opportunities.
• Administer and optimize security technologies including Defender, Sentinel, EDR/XDR, & tools.
• Configure monitoring rules, alerts, dashboards, and reporting.
• Onboard data sources into security monitoring platforms.
• Recommend improvements to security controls and configurations.
• Stay current on threats, attack techniques, vulnerabilities, and best practices.
