As a Security Operations Technician with Epic Hosting, you will be part of a SOC team that secures Epic's SaaS infrastructure for some of the largest healthcare organizations in the country. You’ll identify security events, coordinate investigations, and respond across multiple teams. You will use your critical thinking to implement long-term process improvements and stay updated on emerging security threats to recommend and deploy new security solutions. • Familiarity with enterprise firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention, VPNs, application whitelisting, and data loss prevention.
• Experience with log analysis, monitoring, system/network auditing, or working in a security operations center.
• Security certifications such as SANS/GIAC GSEC, ISC2 SSCP, EC-Council ECSA, or CompTIA Security+ are a plus.
• Knowledge of scripting languages like PowerShell is helpful.
• Experience with access management, Active Directory, physical security is a plus.
• Familiarity with SIEM, MFA, and ITIL tools is beneficial.
• Relocation to Madison, WI (reimbursed).
• Eligibility to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.
• Availability for 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift.
• COVID-19 vaccination required.

Responsibilities include:
