Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
• Knowledge of business and management principles.
• Ability to direct, manage, implement, and evaluate department operations.
• Ability to establish department goals, and objectives that support the strategic plan.
• Ability to effectively plan, delegate and supervise the work of others.
• Ability to lead, motivate, develop, and train others.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the training of all new hires and supervises security officers assigned to patrol duties.
• Administers payroll and scheduling for patrol personnel, including performance appraisal of security officers.
• Maintains and manages performance accountability and oversees equipment use and maintenance.
• Enforces all security measures following policies and procedures and maintains necessary records.
• Responds to all security and safety problems and ensures compliance with University policies.
• supervises building access control, alarms, and incidents, and coordinates with senior staff as needed.
