Job summary

PNC is seeking a Security Specialist within its Technology organization, based in Pittsburgh, PA or other listed offices. You will evaluate alerts from SIEM and security tooling and demonstrate expertise in SIEM and EDR to mitigate threats.

You will manage day-to-day security operations, lead a team, monitor trends, help develop security policies and procedures, and ensure the ongoing health of the infrastructure. In-office environment with a focus on collaboration.

Qualifications

• Experience evaluating and mitigating security alerts from SIEM and product suites.
• Demonstrated understanding of SIEM and EDR technologies.
• Ability to tune SIEM events to reduce false positives.
• Experience leading security teams and coordinating incident response.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations and effectiveness of security technology and programs.
• Oversee resources enabling security control effectiveness with a team and technology.
• Monitor trends and assess staff/security system capabilities to meet business needs.
• Lead policy development, audit mitigation, and actions to secure and maintain infrastructure health.
• Document and revise procedures and playbooks for standard security practices.
