Job summary

Posh Technologies is expanding its security team with a Security Administrator / SOC Analyst to be on the front line of day‑to‑day security operations. You will triage alerts, hunt for threats, manage CrowdStrike Falcon SIEM, and support security tooling across the organization.

You'll work with senior security staff, expand threat hunting capabilities, contribute to compliance efforts including SOC 2 audits, and help document security processes for internal teams.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in security operations, SOC analyst, or similar IT security role.
• Hands-on experience with a SIEM platform, ideally CrowdStrike Falcon Next-Gen SIEM (alert triage, detections, log querying).
• Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) security and logging services.
• Experience analyzing log data to identify suspicious or anomalous activity and investigating alerts.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact with non-technical teammates.
• Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation.
• Nice to have: JamfPro experience; SOC2/NIST/ISO 27001 exposure; DLP/PII protection; CrowdStrike language (CQL/LogScale) proficiency; related security certifications.
• Interest in AI security or securing AI/ML systems.

Responsibilities

• Operate and administer CrowdStrike Falcon Next-Gen SIEM; monitor, triage, respond to alerts; tune detections; assist in creating rules and dashboards.
• Perform threat and anomaly hunting across SIEM log data to identify risks before incidents.
• Administer and troubleshoot CrowdStrike platform across endpoint protection and cloud security modules.
• Help manage security in Google Cloud Platform, including Security Command Center reviews.
• Serve as first point of contact for day-to-day security questions from employees.
• Assist with SOC 2 audits: evidence gathering and controls support.
• Document security processes and educational materials for internal teams.
• Participate in on-call rotation, including occasional after-hours support.
