Job summary

Georgia Regional Hospital Atlanta requires a Security Operations Manager to oversee daily campus security operations and supervise security personnel. The exempt salaried position requires prior supervisory security or law enforcement experience, with preference for behavioral health or hospital security background.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED and Georgia P.O.S.T. certification required.
• Two years of supervisory custodial experience in a criminal justice or correctional system, with higher-level experience preferred (Lieutenant or Captain level).

Responsibilities

• Supervise Security Supervisors, Officers, Dispatchers, and assigned personnel.
• Plan, assign, direct, and evaluate the work of staff.
• Ensure continuous 24-hour security operations and adequate shift coverage.
• Develop work schedules and coordinate staffing adjustments for leave, vacancies, training, and emergencies.
• Provide supervisory or operational coverage when staffing shortages occur.
• Coordinate daily operations with the Police Lieutenant and implement directives.
• Respond to emergencies, incidents, alarms, fires, and natural disasters.
• Inspect personnel, facilities, equipment, and security systems; complete documentation.
• Recommend corrective action, training, equipment purchases, and improvements; ensure policy compliance.
